January 27, 2012- A minivan crashed into a school bus in central Fresno, on Friday. The accident happened at about 8 AM.
The minivan's driver was traveling north on Broadway Street, when he ran the red light at the intersection of Broadway and Belmont Avenue. The van collided with a school bus that was westbound on Belmont.
The impact of the crash caused the bus to slam into a utility pole at the corner of the streets.
Students and the bus driver were not hurt in the collision. The minivan driver was injured and taken to the local hospital.
