April 9, 2010--Last night's fatal accident near Fowler in Fresno County killed 12 year old Fowler resident Sage Corpus. He had been walking along the shoulder of South Avenue near DeWolf in a group of five pedestrians when 2 of the boys were hit by a 1988 Isuzu pick-up which was then abandoned at the scene.
Issues to be determined include whether the driver had been drinking, the identity of the driver, the speed of the vehicle and whether either of the boys carried uninsured motorist coverage with their family insurance.
