January 12, 2010--According to The Fresno Bee, a collision west of Woodville left one person dead on Tuesday. The Tulare County motor vehicle accident involved a pickup and a small sedan at Avenue 168 and Road 152.
The first issue to determine is whether a blocked or downed stop sign was involved and if drugs or alcohol played a role. The speed of each vehicle can be determined from downloading the event data recorders or black boxes connected to the airbags. The CHP report itself may not be available for several weeks. The best course is to hire a private engineer to investigate these issues right away. The Visalia Law firm of Nelson and Rozier has handled several stop sign cases in this county.
