On Thursday, May 7, 2015, a woman was killed in a SUV collision on I-5, at about 2:30 AM. The semi truck accident took place on Interstate 5, just south of the Kern County line.
A 49 year old female driver, from Burlingame, and three passengers were traveling in a Sport Utility Vehicle southbound on the I-5 highway. The SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to the CHP. It crashed into the back of a big rig trailer that had become loose and stabilized in the freeway lanes.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene of the crash. The passengers, which included a 14 year old girl, and a 17 year old boy, sustained minor injuries.
Please call if you would like us to investigate
this accident. The event data recorders with the airbag modules may have
recorded the vehicle speeds. And we can look into the semi truck trailer malfunction. Our firm is located in Visalia, north of Bakersfield.
