November 16, 2011- A two vehicle crash occurred Wednesday morning on Demaree Street, in Visalia. The accident happened at about 7:15 AM.
A Toyota Matrix, driven by Dan Cranston, was traveling north on Demaree, at about 55 mph. A Honda Accord, driven by Hector Medina, was stopped at the stop sign on Shannon Parkway. Medina did not see the Toyota and pulled out right in front of it.
Cranston slammed on his brakes and swerved to the left, but could not avoid the Honda in time. The Toyota hit the front of the Honda. The front of both vehicles received extensive damage.
Cranston and Medina suffered only minor injuries. Neither were taken to the hospital.
