On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, a semi truck accident killed one in Kern County. The big rig collision took place on Highway 178, near Bakersfield.
The dual-axle truck, hauling scaffolding, crash happened on Highway 178, between Fairfax Road and Bedford Green Drive.
Miguel Reyes-Flores, of Fresno, was a passenger in the big rig, when the accident happened. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries.
No other vehicle was involved in the collision. More details will be released when they become available.
